Dipesh Navsaria, MD, MPH, MSLIS. Pediatrician and librarian who leads the Wisconsin “Reach Out and Read” efforts – visit this site for more information about this program: (http://www.reachoutandread.org/interstitial/?ref=%2f). Meet Dr. Navsaria in this short (2m) YouTube video.
"The health literacy day-long conference I attended on 1 March had a session on this topic – it was really inspiring to hear how pediatricians are using books to determine a child’s development while encouraging parents to read to their children every day. They shared statistics on how incredibly important early acquisition of language/reading is for a child’s future success in school and life." (Kathy Murray)
